Mio Restaurant & Bar was opened in March 2008 to bring great food to Clonakilty. The emphasis is on producing great food from local West Cork suppliers in a stylish yet casual setting, offering  value for money and accessible wine lists.

Mio Restaurant & Bar is situated upstairs on Connolly St in the heart of Clonakilty. Light & airy, it is simply styled with wooden beams and chairs, contemporary table settings and exposed brick walls. In many ways it resembles a New York City loft that you could easily imagine the girls from Sex & the City enjoying a glass of wine here.

The Food is simply styled and not just Italian. Although we have a wide selection of Pizza's & Pasta's, Mio also specialises in Steaks, Home Made Burgers, a fabulous Mixed Grill and Fresh Fish. Food & Wine magazine describes it as "Seriously competent cooking in a groovy fun Space".
